Kids’ class packs: always know how many classes are left

Tennis, swimming, dance — each of your kids’ activities has its own pack, its own dates and its own price. Kerabat is a class pack tracker for the whole family: it counts the classes as they go by, warns you before a pack runs out and tells everyone at home who has already paid.

How many classes are left on the pack

A pack of 8, one class called off, one extra thrown in — and nobody can say any more whether today is the sixth or the seventh.

In Kerabat

Every class on a pack gets its number: “4th of 8”, “5th of 8”. The last one is marked, and anything past what you’ve paid for says “not covered”. A cancelled class doesn’t use up the pack; a missed one does.

Coming up on the tennis pack: the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th classes of 8, each with its day and time, the 8th marked “last one”, and the class after it marked “not covered”.

When to renew a class pack

You usually hear the pack has run out from the coach, in the changing room, just when you have no cash on you and no time to pay.

In Kerabat

The card says “Pack · 5 of 8 left” and the date of the last class. When only a few classes are left (two by default — you can change that number), the count turns yellow and Renew becomes a prominent button. And the pack turns up in Bills, under Due soon, in good time — as soon as its first unpaid class falls within the next month — next to everything else that needs paying.

The tennis card: pack, 5 of 8 left, the last one on Monday 12 October, with Renew; the days and times; and the coming classes numbered 4th to 8th of 8, the 8th marked “last one”, then one marked “not covered”.

Who paid for the pack

“Did we pay for tennis?” — “I think so…” And it gets paid twice, or not at all.

In Kerabat

Whoever pays taps Renew or Pay, and the other phones show “✓ Anna” with the time straight away. The same bill doesn’t get paid twice, and the pack lands in the month’s spending by itself.

Due soon: summer camp, 200, due 12 October, and dancing for November, 50, each with a Pay button, and tennis, 5 of 8 left, with Renew. Below, under Paid today: tennis, 8 sessions — ✓ Anna, with the time she paid.

The week’s classes, and paying class by class

A tutor on Tuesdays, speech therapy on Thursdays, swimming on Saturdays — and each one is paid for differently.

In Kerabat

All the kids’ classes sit in one schedule for the day and the week. A pack is just one way to pay: you can also pay Per month, For a term or Per session. When you pay per session, Kerabat asks “paid?” once it has happened — and a cancelled one costs nothing.

The Day screen: one overdue bill at the top; today’s classes — dancing, marked as happened, and tennis, the 4th class of 8 on its pack; and today’s spending, with the tennis pack Anna paid for and a receipt still to check.

Questions about kids’ class packs

What if a class is cancelled?

Mark it “Cancelled”. It doesn’t use up the pack, so the last class moves to a later date. A class marked “Missed” does use it up.

What about an extra class that isn’t on the schedule?

On the card, tap Extra date and pick the day. Kerabat tells you straight away whether it’s covered by the pack.

Two kids and several packs — does that work?

Yes. Every activity has its own pack and its own count: your son’s tennis and your daughter’s swimming are counted separately, and the day’s schedule shows them together.

Does the other person at home see it too?

Yes. In Settings → Members, make an invitation link and send it in any chat. From then on the packs, bills and schedule are shared on both phones.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, in Safari — there is nothing to download from a store.

How to put it on your phone

Start with one class pack

Tap “+” → Event and choose Pack: the days, the times and how many sessions you’ve paid for. Kerabat does the counting from there.
